  I'm a relatively new guitar player (2 yrs) and I found the notes/tabs clear and easy to understand. I'm still learning to read music so the tabs were a hugh help. While the notation was simplified, if you listen to Neil perform the song, you can add...

  notes from the listed chords to achieve a more full sound and more closely mirror his performance. I'd love to see another volume with more of his music, especially songs you don't hear on XM radio everyday.

  Its all about being accurate. These tabs are far more accurate than previous collections of Young's work. Sometimes they are simplified slightly but that is consistent with the way he plays. You learn the core and then improvise a little along the way. The book itself is well designed...
